The Recovery
Michael was airlifted to a nearby hospital where he underwent surgery for his broken leg. After a week in the hospital and several weeks of physical therapy, he's well on his way to a full recovery.
"I've always been careful and prepared when riding, but this experience showed me that accidents can happen to anyone, regardless of skill level," Michael reflects.
